Dr. Urvi Vyas, D.C.

Dr. Urvi Vyas received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri in August 2003. She attended Ohio State University for undergraduate work in Biology and Microbiology and minored in Spanish. Prior to receiving her doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Vyas completed a preceptorship at Pain Management of Indianapolis, a multidisciplinary clinic integrating chiropractic, medicine, physical therapy, & exercise rehabilitation, graduating on Dean’s List.

Dr. Vyas has been active in clinical practice since graduation focusing on corrective spinal care and wellness. Through the use of a variety of natural and gentle chiropractic and soft tissue (muscle) techniques, she has assisted hundreds of patients to alleviate symptoms of pain, numbness, & tingling. She is a passionate advocate educating the community how to achieve and maintain optimal health for years to come, decreasing dependence on medication and minimizing chances for surgery.

Along the way, Dr. Vyas has developed a special interest in evidence based nutrition (functional medicine) and can help patients with nutritional and supplement/vitamin recommendations to achieve their individual health needs. This approach has achieved excellent results for patients struggling with weight loss, diabetes management, gastrointestinal difficulties, hormonal problems, joint pain and arthritis, sleep disorders, cardiovascular health, and achieving one’s maximum health potential.

Dr. Vyas joined the Chiropractic Neurology Center in September 2009 to further assist and educate patients about the importance of not only the nervous system, but brain health along with optimal nutritional needs. The combination of these methods allows patients to achieve optimal balance and live a healthy vibrant life.

Dr. Vyas has been happily married for 10 years and is a mom to 2 wonderful boys, 3 ½ and 1 ½. Enjoying life in the Broad Ripple area, they frequently enjoy family walks, running, and dining. She and her husband run the Indianapolis Mini Marathon annually. Some of Dr. Vyas’ personal interests include tennis, cooking, yoga, & travel.
